  5. INTRODUCTION

  7.     Welcome to the ultimate solar panel and battery sizing
  8.     program for Windows.  Given your load and location
  9.         characteristics, it will provide sizing information.
  10.         It includes winter peak sun hours and minimum winter
  11.         temperatures at major US cities.  You have the option
  12.         to manually enter this data if you wish or load alternate
  13.         city data files.

  15.     There are report print functions as well as data save
  16.     and recall functionality.  A full help function with
  17.     design hints is included.

  19. THE FILES

  21.         The following files are supplied with this program:

  25.                 VBRUN100.DLL    The Visual Basic data linker for

  41. INSTALLATION
  42.  
  43.     Copy all the files except VBRUN100.DLL to the directory 
  44.         of your choice.  Copy VBRUN100.DLL to the Windows\System directory.
  45.         Place the program in your choice of program groups as you would any
  46.         windows application in the Program Manager.

  48. RUNNING
  49.  
  50.         This program is a full windows application, hence it will behave
  51.         just like any other windows application.  Use the mouse or Tab
  52.         key to move around, Enter Key or mouse button to select from
  53.         lists or push buttons.

  55. DOCUMENTATION
  56.  
  57.         The user documentation (USERDOC.TXT) is a standard text file.  Use
  58.         any text editor to read or print.  You can print it out with
  59.         the DOS command PRINT /D:PRN USERDOC.TXT.  You can also use
  60.         the Windows NotePad program.  The File is formatted for 60 lines
  61.         per page.
